The primary functions of the Code Compliance Department are:

- To work with the citizens of our community
- To maintain the quality of life the people of Blair enjoy
We are committed to professional code compliance that is responsive to our citizens. In addition, officers privately enforce regulations as their case load allows. More information on each of these violation types can by located by referring to the Blair Municipal Code.
Complaints
The Code Compliance Department's workload is principally complaint-generated. The Department receives a substantial number of complaints each year concerning alleged violations of the City Code of Laws and Ordinances.
