What is the Blair Area Crime Stopper's Program?
The Blair Area Crime Stopper's program is a joint venture of the Blair Police Department and Blair area businesses. The goal of this program is to make Blair a safe environment to live in by encouraging the public to help solve crimes in and around their community.

How does it work?
The Blair Police Department provides information to the public via local media outlets regarding unsolved local crimes and requests the public's help in solving them. Citizens can submit a tip online, or they can send the Blair Police Department a text. Texts that are sent remain anonymous. This information is sent to the Blair Police Investigators, who have over 40 years of combined law enforcement experience.

Anyone victimized by crime will immediately benefit from enhanced prosecution and the increased likelihood that stolen property may be recovered.
